A robot duplicate of King Kong, Mechani-Kong, fails to find radioactive Element X at the North Pole, prompting the evil Doctor Who and Madame Piranha to kidnap the real Kong. They also capture Kong's love interest, Lt. Susan Miller, and her companions.
