In this film, a NYC-based copy editor, Alex, travels to Ridgeline Resort to write a story for a travel writing competition. Initially, she struggles with extreme sports, much to the dismay of Cole, a local enthusiast who thinks she should return to New York. However, when Alex offers to help Cole with his arts festival, he agrees to guide her as she faces her fears and tries various extreme sports.
