Larry Doyle, a dedicated reporter, is hailed as a hero after helping to capture the notorious Pardoni gang. However, his triumph is short-lived as he's framed and loses his job to prevent him from testifying. Seeking a fresh start, Larry moves to a nearby city and meets Ann, but his plans are soon derailed when he's forced to pawn his prized revolver to make ends meet. Unbeknownst to Larry, the revolver falls into the wrong hands, and the gang uses it to frame him for their next heist. Undeterred, Larry sets out to clear his name and bring the gang to justice, leading to a thrilling showdown at the pawn shop.
