A commercial pilot is tasked with flying a Cessna from the United States to Sydney, with stops in Honolulu, Pago Pago, and Norfolk Island. When his co-pilot's plane crashes, he must navigate to their destination alone, but becomes lost and runs low on fuel. In a desperate bid to avoid disaster, he accidentally contacts the pilot of a nearby plane, who agrees to help him, but only if they can first locate him.
