A mysterious parrot, once belonging to a notorious fugitive, finds its way into Mickey's basement, where it begins to communicate with Mickey, sparking a series of events that lead Mickey to believe the parrot is the very same killer he's been hearing about on the radio. Meanwhile, Pluto stumbles upon the parrot while exploring the basement, initially hiding it from view by covering it with fish and then later discovering it nestled inside a leftover turkey.
