Monika, a young and beautiful Berliner, leads a double life as a hospital nurse by day and a grave-robbing necrophile by night. When she discovers a recently deceased man's obituary, she becomes obsessed with bringing his corpse home and reanimating it. As her necrophilic obsession threatens to surface, Monika must decide whether to show affection to the living or give her love to the dead.
