Okay for Sound background

Okay for Sound

Warner Bros. produced a Vitaphone Varieties short to commemorate the 20th anniversary of their innovative Vitaphone sound-on-film process, which debuted alongside the film Night and Day in 1946.

The 1946 short film "Okay for Sound" was created to commemorate the 20th anniversary of Warner Bros.' Vitaphone sound-on-film process and was released alongside the feature film "Night and Day". As a result, anyone who saw "Night and Day" on its initial run in a theater also saw "Okay for Sound", unless they arrived late and missed the bonus short.
