Two teenage sisters, Jude and Maureen, struggle to survive in Montréal, surrounded by a life of substance abuse, crime, and exploitation. After being kicked out by their volatile father, Jude is forced to navigate the streets, relying on a cast of questionable characters, including a pedophile, a male prostitute, a pimp, and a junkie boyfriend. As Jude tries to evade a sadistic pursuer, she clings to unrealistic fantasies of a normal married life, unaware of the harsh realities around her.
