The first supersonic jetliner, Maiden One, is about to take its maiden voyage, carrying a diverse group of celebrities and important figures, including former sportscaster Lyle Kingman, CEO Paul Whitley, and legendary aircraft designer Willy Basset. However, the flight is threatened when a disgruntled engineer sabotages the hydraulic system and a passenger brings a deadly strain of influenza on board. With no working controls, Captain Walsh and a small group of passengers must work together to safely land the plane.
