In this Western, a ruthless cattleman named Big Jim Johnson seeks to drive settlers off their land, employing a group of hired guns, including Johnny Dawson. As Johnny is ordered to eliminate the Doc, who has chosen to support the settlers, he is forced to choose between his loyalty to his brother and his allegiance to Johnson, setting the stage for a tense confrontation.
