The Fire and the Rain background

The Fire and the Rain

In a parched desert, two ambitious priests engage in a brutal struggle for dominance, each determined to appease the rain god and willing to sacrifice everything to succeed, resulting in a complex web of illicit love, betrayal, and bloodshed.

Based on a Mahabharata incident, the film is also inspired by a Girish Karnad play, Fire in the Rain.
