A renowned doctor is summoned to a mysterious mansion, where he becomes embroiled in a series of eerie events that put his sanity to the test.
Dr. Faraday, a country doctor, is summoned to Hundreds Hall, where his mother once worked, to treat a patient in the long, hot summer of 1948. The Hall, once home to the Ayres family for over two centuries, is now in decline and its inhabitants are plagued by a dark presence that threatens their very existence.
