A friend summons Tom and Fuzzy, only to find their friend brutally murdered. Tom uses his wits to track down the killer, but the culprit escapes on Tom's horse. In a twist, Tom's own men mistake him for the killer and open fire, leaving him wounded. Undeterred, Tom cleverly manipulates two of Clark's men into killing each other, leading to the capture of one of them. The survivor's imprisonment ultimately brings out Clark and his gang, setting the stage for a showdown with Tom and the Sheriff.
