The Man Who Saved Christmas

A heartwarming documentary tells the story of A.C. Gilbert, a renowned toy maker, as he battles to maintain the enchantment of Christmas amidst a period of great upheaval.

The story follows two brothers, A.C. and Frank, who start a toy company to compete with German imports, despite their father's refusal to lend them the money. They find success with educational products, but their business is impacted when the US enters World War I. Frank enlists, while A.C. is recruited by the government to convert factories for the war effort. Meanwhile, their young son tries to convince A.C. not to cancel Christmas and to continue producing toys, despite the challenging circumstances.
