14-year-old computer prodigy Rudy Gatewick inherits leadership of high-tech conglomerate Zenda, Inc. after his father's sudden death. His scheming uncle plots to take over the company, kidnaps Rudy, and hires thugs to manipulate the stockholders' meeting. Meanwhile, Zenda executives hide the abduction to protect Rudy's life and discover a lookalike, Oliver Gillis, who agrees to take his place to help his unemployed father. As Oliver assumes Rudy's role, he finds himself struggling to keep up with his new responsibilities, especially at the Zenda Corporation, while the real Rudy is lost in the forest with his captors.
