Jed Rees, a talented actor, embarked on his professional journey after years of training in New York. He soon found himself working on various film and television productions in his hometown of Vancouver, with notable credits including The X-Files (1993),The Outer Limits (1995),and the movie Fear (1996),which starred Mark Wahlberg and Reese Witherspoon.
Following his time in Vancouver, Jed returned to New York to take part in the theatrical production of "Two Pianos, Four Hands" at the Promenade Theater. In 1999, he made the decision to drive his trusty old convertible down to Los Angeles in search of more substantial work opportunities. His persistence paid off, as he landed a role in Galaxy Quest (1999) after just one audition.
Since then, Jed has continued to work on both sides of the border, with a notable range of credits to his name. Some of his most notable roles include The Chris Isaak Show (2001) for Showtime, The Ringer (2005),Elizabethtown (2005),Men with Brooms (2002),and guest appearances on Chuck (2007),CSI: Crime Scene Investigation (2000),Ghost Whisperer (2005),and Pretty Little Liars (2010).
Today, Jed resides with his family in Topanga, California.
