In 2015, sisters Yusra and Sarah Mardini fled war-torn Syria, seeking refuge in Greece. After a perilous journey, their overcrowded dinghy's engine failed in the Aegean Sea. Yusra and two others, who could swim, worked together to save everyone on board. Just a year later, Yusra made history as a member of the Refugee Olympic team, competing in two swimming events at the Rio Olympics.
