Ahmed Malek Mostafa was born on September 29, 1995, in Egypt. His acting career began at the tender age of eight when his uncle took him to audition for a commercial.
At the age of 10, Malek landed his first role in the TV series "Ayamna el helwa" (Our Good Days) in 2005. He continued to work in the industry, playing small roles in various TV shows, including "Mafish Fayda" alongside Moustafa Amar and Basma.
However, it was his role as young Hassan al-Banna, the founder of the Muslim Brotherhood, in the TV series "El-Gamaah" (The Brotherhood) in 2010 that marked his breakthrough as a young actor.
Following the 2011 Egyptian Revolution, Malek took a brief hiatus from acting to focus on political and revolutionary activism.
He returned to acting in 2012 with the role of a young Egyptian revolutionary activist in the TV series "Al-shaware'a al-khafiya" (The Backstreets),starring alongside renowned actors such as Jamal Soliman, Layla Olwi, Sami El-Adl, and Gihan Fadel.
In 2012, Malek received the offer to play the role of Ahmed, a stammered teenage addict in the TV series "Ma'a Sabq Alesrar". His performance earned him a nomination for Best Young Actor in the same year.
In 2013, Malek won the DG award for Best Young Actor for his role in the TV series "Hekayet Hayah". The same year, he received an offer to audition for a pivotal role in the sequel to the movie "El-Gezirah" (2007),which became "The Island 2" in 2014. This role propelled him to regional stardom in the Middle East and cemented his status as one of the most successful and sought-after Egyptian actors of his generation.
Malek continued to gain international recognition with critically acclaimed films such as "Clash" (2016),"Sheikh Jackson" (2017),and "Leil Khargi" (2018),all of which have been selected to represent Egypt in international film festivals and award circuits.
