Amidst 14th-century France, a team of archaeologists becomes stranded and must face treacherous medieval conditions to rescue their missing comrade and find their way back to their own era.

A group of spacemen and corpses, led by Chris Johnston and Kate Ericson, use a 3-D fax machine to travel back to 14th century France, seeking to rescue Chris' father and return to the present. However, they soon find themselves fighting for survival against medieval French warriors and the looming deadline for their return home.
