Arjun, a devoted Hanuman follower, falls in love with Lisa, a Christian with Indian and Caucasian heritage. However, their love is met with disapproval from Arjun's father, who insists on a Hindu marriage. The couple decides to cut ties with their families, become atheists, and start anew in 1920s Bombay. They later relocate to renovate a mansion in Palanpur, where Lisa begins to suspect something unusual about a particular room. Despite Arjun's dismissal, the couple soon faces a terrifying reality when Lisa becomes possessed by a malevolent and seemingly invincible entity.
