Captain Nemo seeks revenge against Charles Denver, who caused the death of Princess Daaker, and has built a submarine to find him. After years of searching, Nemo discovers Denver's daughter and a sailor on a mysterious island, where they were abandoned by Denver. The daughter is found by five survivors of a Union Army balloon crash. Professor Aronnax and his companions are thrown into the water after Nemo rams their ship, and are later treated as guests on the Nautilus to view the underwater world and hunt with Nemo, who shares his story of revenge.
