Kedarnath, a wealthy man with many enemies, is saved by a taxi-driver, Dilher Singh, who is then killed instead. Kedarnath offers to care for Dilher's widow and son, but his enemies substitute a fake family, leading to the real widow's death and the son's upbringing by a poor man and his son. Years later, the son, Jimmy, grows up to impersonate Rakesh Rajpal and falls in love with Jyoti, whose father is none other than Kedarnath, leading to a dramatic confrontation with past crimes and memories.
