In colonial India, a group of rebels, led by Abhay, fights for independence. When Abhay, his love Nandini, and fellow revolutionaries are betrayed and killed by the traitor Tejeshwar Singhal, their spirits are reborn into new families. Years later, Abhay and Nandini, now known as Karan and Anjali, reunite to exact revenge on Tejeshwar, who has become a powerful government minister.
