Angus the fluffy cat is the only sane member of a chaotic Eastbourne family. The eldest daughter, Georgia, is smitten with Robbie, the lead singer of "Stiff Dylans", who runs an organic grocery store with his brother Tom. Georgia's best friend Jas has a crush on Tom, while Georgia ignores Peter Dyer's affections and later Dave the Laugh's. Meanwhile, Robbie was considering dumping Lindsay, but changes his mind due to her apparent cruelty. Georgia's indecisiveness affects her birthday party plans and her father's career opportunities, while her mother flirts with a hunky interior decorator, Jem.
