The movie follows a romantic story between Sylvia and Dick, who share a kiss at a dance but are separated before Dick can learn her full name. Dick's search for Sylvia leads him to a group of young people gathered for a musical show at a hotel, where they are unwittingly part of an eugenics experiment led by Professor Dove. The mismatched lovers must put aside their differences and work together to save the hotel by putting on a successful minstrel show.
