Comin' Round the Mountain

A comedy film follows the misadventures of an absurd duo, Bud and Lou, as they navigate a series of ridiculous situations, including rural shenanigans, supernatural chaos, and romantic escapades involving enchanted potions.

In this comedy, a talent agent brings a singer to a club, but his attempt to scout another act goes awry when the escape artist accidentally swallows the key to his restraints. The agent sees potential in the artist, Wilbert, when he discovers he's a descendant of a legendary Kentucky family, the Squeeze Box McCoys. According to family lore, a Squeeze Box McCoy's return will reveal the location of buried treasure. Wilbert, Dorothy, and the agent head to Kentucky, where they encounter the McCoy clan, who demand Wilbert prove his heritage by winning a turkey shoot and eventually agree to let him marry one of the cousins to keep the treasure in the family. However, things get complicated when a love potion causes everyone to fall for the wrong person, leading to a series of misadventures and ultimately, the revelation of the treasure's location.
