Death Hunt

In the harsh Canadian wilderness of 1931, the solitary trapper Johnson lives life on his own terms. When he intervenes in a brutal dog fight and purchases a near-dead dog for $200, he sparks the wrath of the owner, Hasel. Despite Sergeant Millen's reluctance, the breeder and his cohorts falsely accuse Johnson of murder, leading to a tense standoff as Johnson fights to protect his freedom.
