The movie follows the story of a lawyer, T.K., who is having an affair with her client, Steven, who is accused of producing child pornography. When T.K. meets her old friend Ellie, she discovers that Ellie is Steven's wife. T.K. decides to end the affair and Steven asks her to meet him at his office, but she discovers he owns the production company and has been lying to her. The next day, Ellie is arrested for her husband's murder and hires T.K. to defend her, while a detective senses something is missing in the case.
