Ernest P. Worrell, a quirky character, discovers a mysterious device called the Changing Coffin, which unexpectedly transforms him into Dr. Otto, a diabolical scientist intent on global domination. Dr. Otto plans to utilize his Gloom Beam to disable all computers managing financial records and bank accounts, securing his position as the sole authority over the world's wealth. To thwart Dr. Otto's sinister plan, bumbling hero Lance Sterling and his cautious sidekick Doris are dispatched to his lair, where they must confront various terrifying alternate personas of Dr. Otto, as well as his loyal robot servant, Willie.
