In the harsh Antarctic environment, a sled dog trainer named Jerry Shepherd must abandon his team of dogs at the polar base due to an impending snowstorm. As he departs, he leaves his dogs behind, hoping to be rescued later. However, the mission is ultimately canceled, and the dogs are left to fend for themselves.
