Boston lawyer Jonathan McIntyre, a workaholic, is struggling to find love outside of professional connections. That is until he meets Liberty Taylor, a caterer, at his law firm's festive inauguration. Despite his initial reservations, they start dating and Jonathan finds himself falling for Liberty. However, their relationship is put to the test as Jonathan's colleague and friend, Nick, warns that Liberty's lack of ambition and social skills may be a hindrance to his future.
