Failure to Launch background

Failure to Launch

A middle-aged man's mundane routine is disrupted when his parents enlist the help of a life coach to guide him towards self-discovery and independence, leading to a chain of unexpected and humorous events.

Tripp, a 35-year-old man, has a unique life with an interesting job, a trendy car, and a passion for sailing, but he still lives with his parents. They hire Paula, an "interventionist," to help him move out, using a formula that has worked for her in the past. However, things become complicated when Tripp starts to develop feelings for Paula, and one of his friends becomes attracted to her roommate, who is struggling with a personal issue. As secrets and emotions escalate, the question arises: who can intervene and help Tripp finally leave the nest?
