Up-and-coming Las Vegas nightclub singer Bobbie Warren is caught up in a web of mob ties, leading to her imprisonment until she agrees to testify. After a harrowing experience in jail, she buys her freedom by promising to cooperate with authorities and is placed under the care of detectives Clint Morgan and O.W. Thurston. As she awaits her meeting with the D.A., Bobbie finds herself falling for Clint, but also plots her escape and potential return to her former lovers. Unfortunately, Clint has his own sinister plans for her.
