In this psychological thriller, a man's life unravels as he's accused of physically abusing his wife. As his world crumbles, his childhood imaginary friend Eddy reappears, identical in appearance. Initially, Eddy serves as a source of comfort, but soon turns out to be a harbinger of terror. As the protagonist struggles to maintain control, Eddy's malevolent actions escalate, leaving the protagonist powerless to stop him. With no one believing him, the protagonist must find a way to prove that Eddy, once a product of his own imagination, is now a real and malevolent force.
