Four friends, known as the "Flossy Posse", reunite for a girls' trip to the Essence Music Festival in New Orleans, where lifestyle guru Ryan Pierce is the keynote speaker. The friends, including Sasha, a struggling gossip site owner, Lisa, a nurse and divorced mom, and Dina, a party animal, initially have a great time until they discover Ryan's husband may be cheating. Despite their initial reluctance, they learn Ryan is already aware of the situation and is in couple's counseling.
