The Marine Corps recruits two boys, who find themselves thrust into leadership roles when their commanding officer, a war veteran, learns of Sach's father's connection to him. On their first day of training, they stumble upon a dead Marine and a playing card, leading them to a local gambling house where they suspect foul play.
