In the small town of Alsina, Argentina, former soccer player Fermín Pelassi and his wife Lidia restore an abandoned silo to create a cooperative, hiring locals to work and bring back business to the town. However, when they deposit their funds in a bank, the government declares a national bank freeze, trapping their money. After a car crash kills Lidia and leaves Fermín severely injured, his son Rodrigo returns to care for him and uncovers a conspiracy involving corrupt bank manager Alvarado and lawyer Fortunato Manzi.
