As a stalwart member of the centrist Radical Civic Union (UCR),he went on to serve as a deputy in the Argentine Chamber of Deputies from 1993 to 2001, demonstrating his dedication to public service.
In 2005, Brandoni ventured into the realm of electoral politics by running for a seat in the Argentine Senate as a UCR candidate, although he ultimately did not succeed in his endeavor. Undeterred, he attempted to enter the realm of provincial politics in 2007, running alongside nominee Ricardo Alfonsín for the office of Vice Governor of Buenos Aires Province. Despite his efforts, he ultimately emerged as a loser in this contest.
