How to Murder Your Wife

Stanley Ford, a successful cartoonist, lives a life of luxury thanks to his popular Bash Brannigan series. However, his carefree bachelorhood is disrupted when he wakes up after a friend's stag party to find himself married to a beautiful woman who doesn't speak English. Despite initial reservations, Stanley adapts to married life, even changing his cartoon character's persona. But when he decides to kill off his cartoon wife, his real-life wife misinterprets his intentions and disappears, leading to a murder charge from the police.
