A deceitful lawyer masterminds a complex plan, convincing his brother-in-law to feign a crippling condition, ultimately leading to a catastrophic outcome.

In this comedy, a TV cameraman is injured while filming a football game and his opportunistic lawyer brother-in-law manipulates him into exaggerating his injuries to win a large settlement. As the cameraman's ex-wife tries to rekindle their relationship, the football player who caused the injury grapples with the consequences of his actions.
