Kathie Aumont arrives in the city to work at a defense plant, but her housing plans fall through. She rents an apartment from Johnny Moore, who's about to join the Marines, unaware that he's given the key to his friends. Complications arise when Kathie falls for two of them, including a navy sailor and Johnny himself, who returns unexpectedly.
