Judas, a cynical city boy, initially doesn't trust Jesus, but eventually joins his group of country bumpkin disciples. Despite their differing perspectives, Judas and Jesus become good friends. Judas convinces Jesus to give his disciples his miraculous powers, which yield good results. However, the Jewish leaders manipulate Judas into betraying Jesus, promising to save the Jewish people.
