James Bond embarks on a perilous quest for revenge after his friend Felix Leiter is left gravely injured by ruthless drug lord Franz Sanchez. As Bond pursues Sanchez, he faces opposition from MI6, who deem Sanchez's crimes unworthy of their attention and strip Bond of his license to kill.
