Two Parsi families in Mumbai, one led by a zealous religious extremist and the other by a liberal newspaper editor, come together in a heartwarming comedy. The story is told through the eyes of 10-year-old Xerxes, a soccer-loving boy who longs for his idol Zinedine Zidane to visit Bombay. Despite his mother's passing, Xerxes believes she can still see him and perform miracles from above. His older brother Art, a cartoonist, brings his wild fantasies to life, while their father Khodaiji thrives on attention and donations from hopeful believers. As the two families intertwine, their differences become hilariously apparent, leading to a complicated and entertaining life for all.
