Manfast background

Manfast

Four women embark on a 100-day experiment, cutting off all male interactions, with a substantial reward awaiting the first man who can successfully breach their resolve, resulting in a tumultuous and unpredictable outcome.

Manfast draws from various influences, including the Greek play Lysistrata, to deliver edgy humor and contemporary commentary. The story follows four hard-partying women who live in the "House of Babes" and publish a struggling zine. When a grad student friend proposes that they abstain from contact with men for 100 days in exchange for grant money, the babes take up the challenge. As the media takes note and the men start to grow restless, the situation escalates and the babes find themselves at the center of a media storm about feminism and culture.
