Shawna Craig is a multifaceted individual, born in Los Angeles, California, and raised in Tallahassee, Florida. Her life has been marked by a constant presence of sports and the performing arts. In 2000, she enrolled in a theatre school, concurrently signing with a local agency and competing in the prestigious Models of the South event in Hilton Head, South Carolina, where she emerged victorious in three categories: Best Runway, Best Headshot, and Best Group Runway.
As she entered her junior year, Shawna decided to homeschool herself to focus on her acting pursuits. Her senior year, she auditioned for a college show choir, beating out hundreds of hopefuls to secure a spot on the team of 14. Her exceptional talent was subsequently recognized with a Fine Arts Scholarship for Show Choir, The Bright Future Scholarship, two Foundation scholarships, and a Pellgrant.
At the age of 20, Shawna embarked on a cross-country drive to San Diego, where she secured a hosting position, interviewing celebrities on the red carpet for various events. In November 2009, she relocated to Los Angeles, where she met her now-husband, Lorenzo Lamas. Her inspiring story was later featured in the empowerment book "Change One Belief."
Shawna's television credits include Celebrity Wife Swap on ABC, which garnered record-breaking numbers for the season. She has also served as a spokesmodel for Cooper Tires in the Champ Car Atlantics series, often appearing alongside drivers on The Speed Channel and ESPN. The prestigious honor of delivering the iconic "Drivers Start Your Engines" at the Long Beach Grand Prix was also bestowed upon her.
As a model, Shawna has maintained a long-standing relationship with Cooper Tires, representing the brand in the Formula D series and touring with Professional Bull Riders Inc. (PBR),where she would enter the ring to present awards. She has also had the opportunity to represent Mazda at Laguna Seca for both Moto GP and AMA events, a position she held for two consecutive years.
Shawna is currently a cast member of Second Wives Club on the E! Channel, a testament to her enduring presence in the entertainment industry.
