Mumbai-based Sunil and his wife Malti, with their 10-year-old son Avi, are visited by their US-based friends Shefali and Harsh. When Sunil discovers the secret behind Harsh's attitude, he is shocked to learn it's through spouse-swapping. Initially, he tries to convince Malti to join him, but she refuses. However, after a few days, he succeeds in convincing her to try it, and they meet a couple, Kalpana and Vinod, in a dramatic turn of events.
