Manu's first screenplay, Oye Lucky Lucky Oye, was a massive hit, earning him widespread acclaim and numerous prestigious awards, including the Filmfare award, IIFA, and more. This success not only solidified his position as a talented actor but also marked the beginning of his journey as a successful writer.
Throughout his career, Manu has effortlessly juggled his roles as an actor and writer, delivering numerous successful films in both capacities. Some of his notable works include Phas Gaye Re Obama, Kya Dilli Kya Lahore, 21 Topon ki Salaami, Ek Deewana Tha, What The Fish, Life ki toh Lag Gayi, Aankhon Dekhi, and Oye Lucky Lucky Oye, to name a few.
After a hiatus from acting, Manu is now making a comeback as an actor, and fans can look forward to seeing him in a primary role in the web series Inside Edge, directed by Karan Anshuman and produced by Excel Films, exclusively available on Amazon Prime.
