Ethan Morgan, a freshman, is not trusted by his parents to stay home alone with his little sister Jane. They hire Erica, a fan of "Dusk", as a babysitter. However, Erica decides to attend a party instead, leaving Ethan's parents to tell Ethan that Sarah, Erica's friend, will babysit instead. Ethan has a vision when touching Sarah, noticing she has no reflection in the mirror. He confides in his best friend Benny, and they discover Sarah is a vampire. They follow Sarah to the party, where they learn Erica has been bitten. The trio battles vampires and escapes.

As a babysitter, a teenage girl is hired to care for her friend's younger sister, but as time passes, her friend begins to notice bizarre and unsettling occurrences surrounding the babysitter, causing him to wonder if she's who she claims to be.
