The Marshal, frustrated with the outlaw problem, calls upon his friends, the Range Busters, for help. Meanwhile, the newspaper editor, dissatisfied with the Marshal's efforts, forms a vigilante committee, unaware that its leader, Jim Dawson, is actually the outlaw gang's leader. Dawson's gang then falsely accuses Crash and Dusty of robbery and murder, and sets them up to be lynched.
